Cousins Maine Lobster, the well-known fast-casual lobster roll brand, has officially announced the grand opening of its newest food truck in Charlotte. This expansion marks the company’s fourth truck in North Carolina and an exciting return to a city with a strong and loyal fan base.
The new Charlotte food truck will be operated by experienced franchisees Savas Alkoc and Victoria Alkoc. Known for their expertise in managing multi-unit operations, the Alkocs currently oversee multiple Cousins Maine Lobster locations across several states, including New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. Their proven track record in scaling operations and building strong teams has played a significant role in the brand’s continued growth.

“We’re excited to bring Cousins Maine Lobster back to Charlotte,” said the Alkocs. “The community here has always shown incredible enthusiasm for our brand. Returning with a stronger team and foundation makes this moment even more special, and we’re thrilled to reconnect with our loyal customers.”
The return to Charlotte reflects the brand’s confidence in the local market and its strategy of partnering with experienced franchise operators to support sustainable expansion nationwide.

“Savas and Victoria represent the strength of our franchise system,” said Lindsay Herberger. “Their ability to build high-performing teams and scale operations responsibly has been key to their success across multiple markets.”
The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening on January 22 at Town Brewing Co. from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Guests can enjoy a variety of signature menu items, including authentic Maine lobster rolls, lobster tacos, grilled lobster cheese sandwiches, New England clam chowder, and classic whoopie pies.
