El Mayor Tequila, the renowned tequila crafted by the Gonzalez family, is expanding its lineup with new 375mL bottles of its popular Blanco and Reposado varieties. Designed to suit evolving consumer preferences, these smaller sizes will be available starting this month at a suggested retail price of $14.99.
To celebrate the arrival of spring and cocktail season, El Mayor has teamed up with Cocktail Courier to introduce a limited-edition cocktail kit priced at $89.99. The kit includes a 375mL bottle of Reposado tequila along with all the ingredients needed to create refreshing drinks like the Tequila Sunrise Spritz and Paloma Fresca.
According to Brand Manager Kayleigh Longo, the new bottle size offers greater flexibility for consumers seeking premium tequila that fits both their lifestyle and budget. Whether attending social gatherings or crafting cocktails at home, the 375mL format makes it easier to explore and enjoy the brand.
Produced at Destiladora Gonzalez Lux, El Mayor Tequila is made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave sourced from the valley and highland regions of Jalisco, Mexico. The Blanco expression is unaged and crystal clear, delivering a crisp profile with light floral and pepper notes. Meanwhile, the Reposado is aged for at least nine months in American white oak barrels, resulting in a rich golden color with hints of fruit, vanilla, and spice.
Both expressions have received significant recognition in 2025. The Blanco earned gold medals at major competitions including the ASCOT Awards, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and the SIP Awards. The Reposado also secured top honors, including gold at the ASCOT Awards, platinum at the SIP Awards, and a place among the world’s top 10 tequilas at the International Wines and Spirits Competition.
