In 2025, Bentley Motors celebrates three defining milestones in its history with a trio of bespoke Flying Spur models. Each one pays tribute to an iconic predecessor—the 1965 T Series, the 1985 Turbo R, and the 2005 Continental Flying Spur—forming a continuous lineage that has shaped Bentley’s four-door luxury sedan.
Crafted by Mulliner, these exclusive 2025 Flying Spurs reinterpret classic design elements while integrating cutting-edge technology and performance. Each model reflects the character of its original inspiration while showcasing the evolution of Bentley’s craftsmanship over decades.
The original vehicles belong to Bentley’s Heritage Collection, a curated fleet of 50 historic models պահպանed in running condition at the company’s Crewe headquarters in England.
1965 T Series – The Start of Modern Bentley Design
Introduced at the Paris Motor Show, the T Series marked a turning point for Bentley. It was the brand’s first model to adopt a monocoque structure, replacing the traditional separate chassis. Designed by John Blatchley, it combined a more compact exterior with increased interior space and modern styling.
Powered by a 6.2-litre V8 engine, the T Series delivered smooth yet capable performance for its time. The Heritage Collection example—VIN 0001—has been restored in its original Shell Grey finish with a refined blue leather and walnut interior.
Tribute Model: Flying Spur Azure
The modern Flying Spur Azure echoes the elegance and comfort of the T Series while introducing a powerful hybrid drivetrain producing 680 PS. Its exterior in remastered Shell Grey, chrome detailing, and refined interior materials mirror the classic design, while advanced features such as wellness seating and dynamic ride systems elevate the driving experience.
1985 Turbo R – Performance Meets Luxury
The Turbo R redefined Bentley’s identity by combining high performance with luxury. Equipped with a turbocharged 6.75-litre V8 engine, it delivered impressive acceleration and handling improvements, helping reestablish Bentley as a performance-focused brand.
The Heritage model, finished in Brooklands Green with a Magnolia interior, represents the era’s bold styling and engineering innovation.
Tribute Model: Flying Spur Speed
The 2025 Flying Spur Speed continues this legacy with an ultra-performance hybrid system producing 782 PS. Finished in Brooklands Green with yellow accents, it balances powerful performance with refined luxury. Inside, bespoke detailing, dual-tone veneers, and subtle color highlights pay homage to the original Turbo R’s distinctive character.
2005 Continental Flying Spur – A New Era of Innovation
Launched during Bentley’s modern revival under Volkswagen AG, the Continental Flying Spur brought together advanced engineering and everyday usability. Its W12 engine and all-wheel-drive system delivered remarkable speed and stability, setting new standards for luxury sedans.
The first production model in the Heritage Collection, finished in Cypress Green, reflects this transformative period in Bentley’s history.
Tribute Model: Mulliner Flying Spur Speed
The latest tribute model captures the spirit of the 2005 original with a contemporary twist. Its bespoke Cypress exterior and handcrafted interior feature unique green tones, intricate quilting, and dual-finish wood veneers. Every detail highlights Mulliner’s dedication to personalization and craftsmanship.
A Celebration of Evolution
These three bespoke Flying Spur models demonstrate how Bentley has evolved while staying true to its core values of luxury, performance, and design excellence. By blending heritage-inspired styling with modern innovation, Bentley continues to redefine what a luxury sedan can be.
