Princess Cruises has revealed its highly anticipated 2027–28 South America season, offering immersive journeys aboard the Majestic Princess. Running from October 2027 through January 2028, the program includes six departures across four itineraries ranging from 15 to 37 days, blending cultural discovery with breathtaking natural exploration.
Designed to bring travelers closer to some of the world’s most extraordinary landscapes, the season features extended time ashore, late-night port calls, and unforgettable overnight experiences in the Antarctic Peninsula. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit 15 UNESCO World Heritage Sites across the region.
The season begins with a 37-day South America Passage Grand Adventure sailing from Southampton (London), crossing the Atlantic with stops in Lisbon, the Canary Islands, Rio de Janeiro, and Montevideo before concluding in San Antonio (Santiago).

Additional itineraries include 15-day voyages between Buenos Aires and San Antonio, exploring Cape Horn and Patagonia’s glaciers, as well as 17-day roundtrip sailings from Buenos Aires featuring immersive Antarctic experiences. Guests can also extend their journey with curated cruisetours to iconic destinations such as Machu Picchu and Iguazu Falls.
Travelers will explore 19 destinations across eight countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay. Highlights include UNESCO-listed sites such as the Peninsula Valdés Nature Reserve and the iconic landscapes of Rio de Janeiro, home to Christ the Redeemer overlooking Copacabana Beach.
One of the standout experiences is scenic cruising through the Beagle Channel and Glacier Alley, where dramatic glaciers descend from the Darwin Mountain Range. In Antarctica, guests can witness pristine лед landscapes and extraordinary wildlife in locations such as the Gerlache Strait and the South Shetland Islands.
Wildlife encounters are a major draw, with opportunities to see penguin colonies in the Falkland Islands, along with whales, seals, and seabirds throughout the journey. Cultural immersion is equally rich, from samba rhythms in Brazil to tango performances in Argentina, complemented by regional cuisine and wine.

Onboard, expert naturalists and guest speakers enhance the journey with insights into Antarctic exploration, wildlife, and local cultures. Destination-inspired events, including folkloric performances and culinary experiences, further connect guests to the regions visited.
A variety of shore excursions provide deeper exploration, from penguin expeditions in the Falklands to city tours in Buenos Aires and wildlife cruises through Ushuaia’s Beagle Channel.
